This is obvious if gums are swollen or begin bleeding when flossing. By removing the plaque buildup during the dental cleaning and if the patient continues to floss, gum disease can be eliminated.
• DENTAL ADVICE: The most beneficial part of conducting a dental cleaning every six months is that our pediatric dentist can provide parents and the child advice on how to better protect their teeth in the future.
