Dr. Calvin Jung was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. After having corrective jaw surgery himself and experiencing its benefits firsthand, he decided to pursue training in maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Jung completed his dental education at New York University finishing in the top 2% of his class. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society. He then went on to medical school at the prestigious NYU School of Medicine where he graduated with high honors. Dr Jung is a double board certified surgeon.
During his internship in general surgery, he had the chance to rotate and operate with distinguished facial, aesthetic and plastic surgeons and developed a passion for cosmetic procedures. In order to complement his surgical skills, he moved to Tulsa where he completed an accredited full body cosmetic surgery fellowship under the past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. As a recognized expert in the field, Dr. Jung has lectured nationally on various topics ranging from facial reconstruction and rehabilitation to full body and facial cosmetic surgery.
He’s been faculty at multiple live surgery workshops in cosmetic surgery. He’s also authored publications on subjects including the treatment of cleft rhinoplasties and the treatment and management of head and neck pathology.
Dr. Jung is experienced in the most innovative surgical techniques and advances ensuring he can meet his primary objectives of patient satisfaction and safety. By taking the unique route of training in both maxillofacial and cosmetic surgery, he has an unparalleled understanding of how function and aesthetics work together giving him the ability to treat all of the needs of his patients.
